Chili's

I did not have a great experience this time. My waiter was ok but overall he seemed to be so busy to even keep our drinks filled. I asked for an allergy menu and they brought me out some paper that it was not valid after 8/31/11. I got a mango tea, which turned out to be nasty, had some type of funny taste to it. I made a decision to just go with a steak because it was probably the safest, and a salad and fruit for sides. The salad tasted really gross. I am not sure what was wrong but it tasted like something had gone bad. I had barely taken a bite and my waiter had not even noticed that I did not touch my salad till the very end of the night. I then got my steak and realized I was not asked how I wanted my steak to be prepared. It was ok but I am just thankful it was not overcooked. I asked him to see what the ingredients of the tortilla chips were and he could not tell me, came and told me because it was not on the allergy approved list it was not ok. I am fairly certain that there is no milk ingredients in tortilla chips but I was not about to try. Overall I was not pleased with the service and the amount of choices that I had available to me. I was overly hungry and I did not feel like I got full at all from chili's. The service was ok he just seemed to be totally busy with something else even though the restaurant was not busy.  Here is a link to there allergy menu, it seems like it changes on a regular basis so check it before you go!
